The treatment was an obvious and immediate success, the reduction in flies also followed through to the control and untreated pens as the breeding number of flies diminished.
There was no interruption to the normal flow of customers, the treatment was unobtrusive and of no detriment to the animals.
After 8 weeks there was a gradual increase in the number of flies.
Graham, the farm manager commented "It's pretty impressive, where can I buy some more" !
